Learn how the Sensor Lab of the Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI) contributes to the NANCY project through AI-driven innovations for Beyond-5G networks.

JSI’s work focuses on three main objectives:

  • Managing Wireless Networks with AI: Developing efficient tools for anomaly detection and label-free wireless technology recognition.

  • AI Orchestration with NAOMI: Creating an open, distributed, and self-evolving AI model repository that integrates drift detection and knowledge graphs, while also quantifying the energy cost of the AI lifecycle.

  • Resource Elasticity with MARLISE: Introducing a multi-agent reinforcement learning engine for real-time auto-scaling of services, ensuring responsiveness under dynamic workloads.

Through these advancements, JSI pushes the boundaries of AI in communications, enabling more secure, adaptive, and energy-efficient network operations.
