IEEE International Conference on Cloud Computing CLOUD 2025 in Helsinki, 7-12 July, 2025
Our partners from the Jozef Stefan Institute participated in the IEEE Cloud 2025 Conference held in Helsinki, Finland, in 7-12 July, 2025, where they presented their latest research conducted within the framework of the EU-funded MSCA NANCY SNS JU Project. The presentation introduced MARLISE— a Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning-based In-place Scaling Engine—developed to address the challenge of resource elasticity in edge-cloud and next-generation networks. By enabling dynamic and real-time in-place scaling, MARLISE contributes to NANCY’s broader vision of intelligent, adaptive, and efficient Beyond-5G infrastructure.
